Boy meets girl this S/S 2010!

With everything 80s making a come-back, the androgynous look is back in fashion too.

Boyfriend jeans, remember those? (No, those weren’t pants you wore the next day after a stay-over!)

The boy-meets-girl look is cool and in. Exaggerated shoulder-pads are all over the place. Marc Jacobs, Bottega Veneta, and Vera Wang presented a series of pant suits on the runway. Suits, ties and no-make up scream androgynous.

But you’ve got to do it right, as Designer Sir Paul Smith said a few years ago which still rings true, "Androgyny doesn't have to mean a buttoned-up shirt, a tie and a blazer. You could wear a big masculine coat with a little vintage lacy shirt, for example, or a little lace dress with a large sweater."

The hottest trend in this zone is the boyfriend blazer. Every celeb is wearing one with loose, long sleeves and padded-shoulders. Team it up with a dress, skinny-jeans, some natural make-up and you’ve got the best look in town.

Fedora hats are another addition to the androgynous wardrobe this spring summer. They look dapper on a pair of tights, summer dresses and blazers if you can carry it off.

Neck-ties are in too. In fact they have been there for a while. So pick one you like and make this hot man-style yours!

The natural make-up look and messy, wavy hair compliments the simple androgynous appeal. But you could mix it up with a feminine trend like scarlet lips and chunky jewelry if you wish to.

Boy meets girl was never this sexy!
